Our AQUA MOANA KOROWAI is inspired by the rich tones of Moana Nui a Kiwa(Pacific Ocean) that reflects the sheer vastness and depths of the oceans. The Moana colours evokes feelings of serenity, calmness and a deep respect for the Oceans.

This AQUA MOANA KOROWAI embodies a Concept of Kaitiaki, a Responsibility to care for the Realm of Tangaroa(SeaGod), evoking a deep connection to the Moana Ocean in te Ao Maori(Maori world).

This vibrant Korowai features White Hen feathers at the top, cascading down into a rich symphony of Moana colours …….aqua, sea green and Turquoise Blue. We are honoured to be able to create this Korowai for your child.

This KOROWAI is a beautiful Korowai and perfect to wear with pride and honor at significant whanau celebrations, at Kura events, Kapa Haka and for whanau photos

This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch. The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.

The TANIKO Band is CONTEMPORARY aqua or blue which compliments this KOROWAI.
