Nga Whetu

Inspired by the beautiful shimmering of the Night Sky, we have designed and created the NGA WHETU KOROWAI(Stars of the Night Sky)

This beautiful NGA WHETU KOROWAI shimmers with the Black Hen and Coque feathers. Interspersed within this are the bright stars of the Night Sky in Vector formation, and it culminates in a row of soft White Hen at the top.

This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch.

The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers. 

The TANIKO Band is Contemporary Forest Green which compliments the HUIA KOROWAI well. You can also have Poutama and Patiki TANIKO Bands.

This Korowai comes boxed with its own hanger and garment cover.

It takes 1-2 weeks, depending on current orders in the queue, once order is placed your order goes into a priority queue to be made.
