Our PAPA WHENUA KOROWAI is inspired by the rich earthly tones of Papatuanuku(Mother Earth)

This Korowai begins with several rows of White Hen and Natural Chinchilla feathers at the top, cascading down with a rich symphony of Earthy tones of Gold and Brown Hen and Coque feathers, interspersed with accent rows of Dark Brown Feathers to achieve a blend of harmony and balance.

A band of soft White Hen and Chinchilla accent features at the base to complement the earthy whenua tones.

This PAPA WHENUA KOROWAI embodies a Concept of Kaitiaki, an earthly reminder to care for the land and our environment, to nourish the whenua(land) and our souls.

This Korowai is perfect to wear with pride and honor at significant Whanau celebrations, Special Birthdays, Weddings and Graduations.

This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch. The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.

The TANIKO Band is PATIKI Forest Green which compliments this PAPA WHENUA KOROWAI. This Korowai comes boxed with its own hanger and garment cover.
