Inspired by the vibrant red flowers of the Pohutakawa Tree, we have designed and created the POHUTAKAWA RED KOROWAI for those special celebrations.
This POHUTAKAWA RED KOROWAI embodies a symphony of mana, chieftainship and leadership. The Regal red tones are vibrant and empowering.
This Pohutakawa Red Korowai begins with several rows of White Hen and Chinchilla feathers at the top, cascading down to the main blend of Red Hen and Coque feathers, interspersed with striking White Hen and Chinchilla accent Feathers to achieve a blend of Regal harmony and balance. This unique Korowai Design was created for Graduates, as each one embodies, Determination, Progress, and steps to Success.
This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch. The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.
The TANIKO Band is Contemporary Red which compliments this Korowai. This Korowai comes boxed with its own hanger and garment cover.
