Pohutakawa Red - Whanau Korowai Canvas

Inspired by the vibrant red of the Pohutakawa Flower, we have designed and created the small Pohutakawa Red Korowai on Canvas.

This beautiful small POHUTAKAWA RED KOROWAI has a mantle of Red Hen, then drops into the body of Red Hen & Coque feathers, with accent row of White Hen & natural Chinchilla feathers.

The TOHU (sign)at the base is WHANAU meaning Family. This taonga can also be made with Maori Art at the base. (See other designs)

The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.

The TANIKO Band is PATIKI Blue, but can also be Poutama or Contemporary Taniko. The Canvas is painted in Acrylic and covered with clear wrapping paper.
