Rakau

Inspired by the cream and brown tones of the Rakau tree, we have designed and created the RAKAU KOROWAI.

This beautiful RAKAU KOROWAI is adorned with a base of Chocolate Coque feathers rising to panels of Cream and Dark Brown Coque Feathers to a throat of White Hen at the top.

This taonga Korowai acknowledges, the dedication, commitment and perseverance in challenges on the Journey of Seeking Knowledge and Education. Graduation Time is a day where Whanau can share in the Celebration and Acknowledgement of your Achievements and Success. A proud moment for Whanau, and we are humbled and honoured to be able to participate in this Journey.

This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch. The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.

The TANIKO Band is Contemporary Dark Brown which compliments the RAKAU KOROWAI well.

This Korowai comes boxed with its own hanger and garment cover.

It takes 1-2 weeks, depending on current orders in the queue, once order is placed your order goes into a priority queue to be made.
