Inspired by the Tino Rangatira Maori Flag, we have designed and created the RANGATIRA KOROWAI
Designed to wear at significant Whanau events, Special Birthdays, Weddings and Graduations
This beautiful RANGATAIRA KOROWAI is adorned with a wide throat of White Hen and red hen accent at the top, rippling down with Black Hen and Coque feathers, that shimmer in the sun. A panel of red and white Hen contrast well with the Black Coque feathers at the base to complete the RANGATIRA KOROWAI
This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch.
The cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.
The TANIKO Band is Poutama Red which compliments the RANGATIRA KOROWAI well.
Contemporary and Patiki TANIKO Bands will also compliment this Korowai.
