The TUI KOROWAI is inspired by the vibrant beautiful feathers of the TUI bird. We are reminded of their instincts to protect and preserve their nest areas, yet they are a communal bird, often seen in groups. Their bird calls mimic other birds and sounds of the forest, evoking feelings of joy, freedom and connection.

The TUI KOROWAI design with their striking blue tones, evoke feelings of protection, community and a connection to the Natural world.

This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Purple Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch. The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.

The TANIKO Band is Royal Blue PATIKI which compliments this TUI KOROWAI. This Korowai comes boxed with its own hanger and garment cover.
