Our WAIRUA PURPLE KOROWAI is inspired by the spiritual connection to the Divine. The colour vibration of purple celebrates and resonates with the connection and balance between this physical world and the Spiritual world.

This vibrant Korowai features with several rows of White Hen feathers at the top, cascading down into a rich symphony of plum, purple, aubergine Hen and Coque feathers, culminating with accents of Blue and Black tones at the base.

This WAIRUA PURPLE KOROWAI embodies a Concept of Spiritual Connection, an earthly reminder, a responsibility to care for the whenua(land) and environment…..to nourish the whenua(land), we nourish our souls.

This Korowai is triple lined, with feathers on a strong Calico Backing, an inner layer of Poplin for comfort, and finishes with a lining of Polyester Satin, adding a cool, yet lux touch. The black cord ties are highlighted with matching feathers.
